Shipping Policy

At ARKE Chocolatier, every order is handcrafted in small batches and packed with care to arrive in beautiful condition. Please read the details below before placing your order.

1) Where we ship

  • Australia-wide shipping: Yes (Express options available at checkout, where applicable).
  • International shipping: Not currently available.

2) Processing times (handmade + packed to order)

Because our products are made in small batches, orders are typically processed within:

During peak gifting periods (e.g., Eid, Diwali, Christmas, Mother’s Day), processing times may be longer.

3) Shipping timeframes (estimates)

Delivery timeframes depend on your location and courier network conditions. Estimated shipping timeframes are shown at checkout and in your tracking link.

Please note:

  • Metro areas are usually faster than regional/remote areas.
  • Shipping timeframes are estimates only and may be impacted by weather, public holidays, or courier delays.

4) Shipping fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on:

  • your delivery address,
  • parcel size/weight,
  • and selected shipping method.

5) Order tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email/SMS (depending on checkout details) with your tracking link.

6) Address accuracy

Please double-check your delivery address before submitting your order.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect/incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for any reshipping fees.

7) Authority to leave (ATL)

If you select or allow Authority to Leave, ARKE Chocolatier is not responsible for orders that are lost, stolen, or damaged after being left at the delivery address.

If you’re concerned about security, we recommend choosing a delivery option that requires signature (where available) or shipping to a workplace/secure address.

8) Warm weather & chocolate products

Chocolate is sensitive to heat. We pack our products carefully; however, once your parcel is in transit, temperature conditions can vary.

By placing an order, you acknowledge:

  • shipping delays or high temperatures may affect the appearance/texture of chocolate,
  • minor cosmetic changes (softening, slight bloom) can occur and may not always be considered damage.

Tip: If your order arrives warm/soft, place it in the fridge for 20–30 minutes before unwrapping for best results.

9) Damaged, missing, or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or is missing items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • your order number, and
  • clear photos of the product and packaging.

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, store credit, or another suitable resolution in line with Australian Consumer Law.

10) Lost parcels & courier delays

Once a parcel is dispatched, delivery is handled by the courier. If your tracking shows a delay or no movement, contact us and we’ll assist where possible.

If a parcel is confirmed lost in transit (per courier investigation), we’ll work with you on the next steps.

11) Order changes & cancellations

Because orders move quickly into production, changes or cancellations may only be possible within a limited time after purchase.
